A boy has been charged with shooting and wounding an 18-year-old Feb. 23 on the North Side.

The boy, whose age and name weren’t released, is charged with aggravated battery with a firearm, the police said Saturday.

The 18-year-old was shot in the back as he stood in the 5800 block of North Washtenaw, according to the police, who said a blue car pulled up around 3:15 p.m. and someone got out and fired several shots.
