A teenage boy was wounded Sunday in a Southwest Side Brighton Park neighborhood drive-by shooting.

The 16-year-old boy was standing on the sidewalk in the 3100 block of West 40th Street at 8:40 p.m. when a grey SUV drove by and someone inside fired shots, police said.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the lower right leg and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where his condition stabilized, police said.
