Man shot in Gage Park

A man was shot in the Gage Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side Wednesday evening.

The 24-year-old man was shot in the side of the head about 6:30 p.m. in the 5700 block of South Kedzie, police said.

He took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
