Elderly man missing from Back of the Yards

Police are looking for a missing elderly Back of the Yards neighborhood man who was last seen Monday evening in west suburban North Riverside.

Tim Gatewood, 69, of the 4700 block of South Marshfield, has been missing since 6:30 p.m. Monday, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police. He may be in need of medication.

Gatewood is described as a 5-foot-10, 250-pound black man with brown eyes, black hair and a dark brown complexion, police said. He was last seen wearing a black hat, a blue T-shirt, blue jogging pants and light blue shoes.

He was last seen in North Riverside driving a beige 1998 Buick LeSabre with an Illinois license plate of E145794, according to police.

Anyone with information about Gatewood’s whereabouts is asked to contact Area Central detectives at (312) 747-8380.
