A Chicago man has been charged with burglary for allegedly breaking into a oil change shop in north suburban Park Ridge.

Jason Caldwell, 38, of the 1400 block of South Canal, was arrested April 29 by Park Ridge police and charged with one count of burglary, a Class 2 felony, Park Ridge police said.

The break-in occurred March 30 at the Jiffy Lube in the 700 block of Higgins in Park Ridge.

Police said physical evidence was found linking Caldwell to the burglary and they worked with a neighboring department to identify him and take him into custody.
