On Oct. 2, Neuqua Valley hosts crosstown rival Naperville North in a DuPage Valley Conference matchup broadcast on The Cube.

Neuqua Valley (4-1 overall, 3-1 conference) is coming off big away wins against Wheaton-Warrenville South and Bartlett, while Naperville North is still looking for its elusive first victory.

Neuqua Valley showed explosive scoring from both sides of the ball against Bartlett, coming from behind with back-to-back touchdowns in the third quarter. A 25-yard run by Owen Piche was followed by a 22-yard interception return by Zach Greenberg to put the Wildcats in front ahead for good.

Naperville North showed signs of a strong offense early in the year, scoring a combined 49 points in their first two games in close losses. Since then, the Huskies have sputtered, scoring only 13 points in their last 3 games.
