Typically, people in their 70s aren’t known for being party animals. Most people aren’t Mike Ditka.

The legendary former Bears head coach is teaming up with ESPN to throw a big bash before the Super Bowl. Fans in San Francisco can buy a ticket for the Ditka and Jaws Cigars with the Stars party Thursday night.

According to the event’s website, those in attendance will have plenty of cigars, drinks and appetizers all night long.

This VIP Cigar Party features premium cigars from the industry’s top brands, single-malt scotch and many football celebrities to keep you and your guests entertained throughout the evening. Coach and Jaws will be joined by ESPN personalities, NFL Hall of Famers, current players and NFL Legends.

In addition to the events hosts Ron Jaworski and Ditka, there will be a long list of ESPN personalities, former players and coaches. That list includes Ditka’s former player Jimbo Covert and legendary Bears linebacker Dick Butkus.

The entire event can be watched on The Cube, as the stars walk the red carpet. Things start at 9:00 p.m., almost immediately after ESPN will air “85 Bears,” their “30 for 30″ on the Super Bowl winning Bears team.
