Jeremiah Lebron is one name you will need to remember in Chicago-area high school football.

Not only did Lebron earn this week’s top play, he deserved it after having to rewatch what happened. His pure hustle and brute strength overmatched the, then, No. 1 team in Illinois, Homewood-Flossmoor. One could even argue that Lebron’s running TD gave Bolingbrook the edge in an epic matchup between crosstown rivals.

The Raiders not only beat the top team in the state but they managed to beat them at home–a feat not done since September 6 of last year.

One of the plays that sparked this unbelievable upset was Lebron’s incredible run.

Coming into the game, the running back that was on everyone’s mind was none other than Homewood-Flossmoor’s Devonte Harley-Hampton. This, of course, is not to take away from any of the accolades that Harley-Hampton has earned, but it was Brook’s tailback Jeremiah Lebron that made the difference in this gridiron matchup.
