A 23-year-old west suburban man died after a car accident on Lake Shore Drive.

Daryl Ratliff, of the 7700 block of West Grand Avenue in Elmwood Park, was involved in a car accident on Feb. 8 near Lake Shore Drive and 69th Street, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Ratliff was pronounced dead at Kindred Hospital Chicago North at 1:17 p.m., according to the medical examiner.

An autopsy Friday found he died of complications of multiple injuries after a motor vehicle collision and his death was ruled an accident.

Chicago police could not immediately provide further information.
