There has been a lot of action in Chicago during the baseball offseason. However, almost all of it has gone on near Clark and Addison. But that may all change Wednesday as the White Sox reportedly completed a big three-way trade
According to Yahoo’s Jeff Passan and CBS Sports’ Jon Heyman, the White Sox agreed with the Dodgers and Reds to send Micah Johnson, Trayce Thompson and Frankie Montas to Los Angeles. In exchange, the White Sox will get Reds third baseman Todd Frazier.

Both Johnson and Thompson were called up late in the year for the White Sox, but played big roles for the team down the stretch. Both only 24-years-old, the two were considered part of a young future for the White Sox.
Thompson was a pleasant surprise for the team. In his 44 appearances, Thompson hit .295 with an on base percentage of .363, he also hit five home runs and eight doubles.
Montas is listed as the team’s third highest ranked prospect, and one of the best pitchers in their system. The right-handed pitcher made seven appearances for the White Sox in 2015, including a pair of starts.
In return, the White Sox are reportedly getting Todd Frazier from the Reds.

Frazier, who will be 30 by the start of the season, has made the All-Star game the last two years as a third baseman.
