A 43-year-old man was shot and critically injured in the South Side Burnside neighborhood Monday afternoon.

He showed up at Trinity Hospital 12:25 p.m. with gunshot wounds to the face, torso, and arm, according to Chicago Police.

The man told investigators he had been sitting in a vehicle in the 1100 block of East 95th Street when a gunman with dreadlocks walked up and opened fire, police said.

He is listed in critical condition.
