A man was shot Thursday night in the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side.

A 30-year-old man was shot in the left leg in the 6200 block of South Martin Luther King Drive at 8:15 p.m., police said.

He took himself to University of Chicago Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
