Four people were injured in a rollover crash Tuesday afternoon in northwest suburban Mount Prospect.

Emergency officials responded at 4:37 p.m. to the intersection of Euclid Avenue and River Road, and found a vehicle rolled over onto its roof, according to Mount Prospect police.

The driver was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge with non-life-threatening injuries, a statement from police said.

The driver of a second vehicle involved in the crash, as well as two children, were taken to Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, police said. Their injuries were also not thought to be life-threatening.

Police shut down traffic on westbound Euclid Avenue for about two hours.

The driver of the vehicle that remained upright was ticketed for an improper lane change, police said.
