Man shot in Rogers Park

A man was shot Wednesday afternoon in the Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side.

The 24-year-old was shot in the hand and leg about 2:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of West Morse, police said.

He was taken to Presence Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member and a convicted felon on parole.
