Sharp was back in Chicago Thursday with his Dallas teammates as the Stars faced Chicago for the second time in six days.
Patrick Eaves has a hat trick after one period against the BlackhawksHe received a standing ovation from fans as the Blackhawks played a tribute video, thanking Sharp for his part on three Stanley Cup championship teams.
Along with Eric Meloche, Sharp was traded from the Flyers to the Blackhawks in 2005 in exchange for Matt Ellison and a third-round pick.
He played 10 seasons in Chicago, scoring 511 points on 239 goals and 272 assists.
