A 42-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash on the Eisenhower Expressway early Monday on the West Side has been identified as a west suburban man.

Marcus White crashed his bike into the median between the westbound California exit ramp and the expressway at 12:35 a.m., according to Illinois State Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

White, of the 2300 block of Amsterdam Circle in Montgomery, was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:22 a.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.

At 5:25 a.m., the expressway’s right lane and the California exit ramp were reopened, police said. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
