Chicago Police are warning residents of burglaries in Archer Heights, West Elsdon, West Lawn and Clearing on the Southwest Side.

Burglars entered residences through side or garage doors and took property, according to a community alert from police.

The burglaries happened:

  • about 6:55 a.m. June 7 in the 5800 block of South Kenneth;
  • about 1:35 p.m. June 7 in the 5500 block of South Tripp;
  • about 5 p.m. June 7 in the 5200 block of South Tripp;
  • about 6 a.m. June 8 in the 5000 block of South Tripp;
  • about 8 a.m. June 12 in the 6000 block of South Kilbourn;
  • about 9:15 p.m. June 16 in the 5700 block of South Tripp;
  • about 5 a.m. June 20 in the 6300 block of South Karlov;
  • and about 1 a.m. June 23 in the 6300 block of South Kilpatrick.
