Man shot in Austin

A man was shot late Wednesday in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 29-year-old was walking out of a business in the 600 block of South Cicero at 10:30 p.m. when he heard a single gunshot and realized he’d been hit, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the right wrist and took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.
