A 16-year-old boy was shot in both legs Monday morning in the South Shore neighborhood.

The shooting happened at 11:17 a.m. in the 1500 block of East 74th Place, according to Chicago Police.

The teenager was shot in both legs and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Details about the shooting weren’t immediately known.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
