A man was shot in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side Monday evening.

The 23-year-old was shot in the arm and back about 6:36 p.m. in the 10300 block of South Indiana, police said.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, police said.
