Man shot in Austin

A 24-year-old man was shot in the leg Sunday morning in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The shooting happened about 11:20 a.m. on West End Avenue near Lamon, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition.

Police did not immediately have details on the attack but called it gang-related.
