A 62-year-old woman died Friday, more than three months after she was struck by a vehicle in west suburban Oak Park.

Candice Melecio was struck by a vehicle April 3 in the 6400 block of Roosevelt Road in Oak Park, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

She was taken to Westlake Community Hospital in Melrose Park, where she was pronounced dead at noon Friday, the medical examiner’s office said. She lived in the 6300 block of Roosevelt in Berwyn.

Oak Park police could not immediately provide more details.
