Chicago Police are warning residents of robberies in the South Side Back of the Yards neighborhood.

At least one male walked up to victims and demanded their property, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The incidents happened in the early morning hours July 9 in the 4500 block of South Honore and in the late evening hours July 9 in the 4400 block of South Hermitage, police said.

One of the suspects was described as a 20 to 25-year-old black man, standing 6-foot to 6-foot-3 and weighing 125-160 pounds, police said. The other two suspects were described as 15 to 17-year-old white Hispanic males, standing 5-foot-2 and weighing 130 pounds.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
