One person was injured in a crash Wednesday morning on the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway in northwest suburban Des Plaines.

About 5:20 a.m., a vehicle was eastbound on I-90 near Elmhurst Road when it rear-ended a construction truck that was pulling into a construction zone, according to Illinois State Police.

The driver of the truck was taken to a Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge with a broken leg, police said. No other injuries were reported, and it was not immediately known whether any citations would be issued in relation to the crash.

All lanes had been reopened after the crash by 6:19 a.m., police said.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
