Two men were shot early Saturday in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood.

The men, 23 and 39, were standing on the sidewalk about 3:30 a.m. in the 1700 block of West 21st Street when a dark colored car drove by and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The older man was shot in the side and the 23-year-old was shot in the back. Both men were taken to Stroger Hospital where their conditions stabilized, police said.
