Matthew Wnukowski, 10, of Tinley Park won the St. George Fishing Contest with this big walleye from Green Bay. His dad, Thomas, emailed it was the first fish of the day, caught slow trolling with a swimbait.

FOTW, the celebration of big fish and good stories, runs Wednesdays on the Sun-Times outdoors page. The story part matters as much as the big fish part, as this FOTW amply shows.
