SHARE Police warn of armed robberies at West Side businesses

Police have put out a community alert after a series of armed robberies in Austin, Humboldt Park and East Garfield Park in which one or two men robbed stores.

The latest robbery was Friday in the 3100 block of West Madison Street. The earlier incidents happened:

• Thursday in the 4400 block of West North Avenue.

• Tuesday in the 6600 block of West North Avenue.

• June 25 in the 500 block of South Laramie Avenue.
