A man was wounded in an Austin neighborhood drive-by shooting Sunday night on the West Side.

At 9:13 p.m., the 29-year-old was standing on a corner in the 4800 block of West Potomac when a dark-colored vehicle drove by and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the leg and taken to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
