A man was left in critical condition after he was shot in the Back of the Yards neighborhood Tuesday night on the South Side.

The 25-year-old was standing on a corner in the 4400 block of South Marshfield just before 8 p.m. when he was shot in the abdomen, Chicago Police said.

He took himself to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
