A man was left in critical condition after he was shot in the Back of the Yards neighborhood Tuesday night on the South Side.

The 25-year-old was standing on a corner in the 4400 block of South Marshfield just before 8 p.m. when he was shot in the abdomen, Chicago Police said.

He took himself to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.
