Man shot in Grand Crossing

A man was shot Sunday afternoon in the South Side Grand Crossing neighborhood.

The 23-year-old was sitting in front of a residence in the 7400 block of South Kenwood about 4:08 p.m. when someone got out of a green vehicle and shot him in the abdomen, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Jackson Park Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
