Man shot in North Lawndale

A man was shot Wednesday afternoon in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

The shooting happened at 12:14 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Komensky, according to Chicago Police.

The 24-year-old man was shot in the right thigh and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.

Police said the victim is a documented gang member.
