Two men, ages 22 and 35, were shot in the back Monday evening in the Altgeld Gardens neighborhood on the Far South Side.

It happened about 6:15 p.m. in the 800 block of East 133rd Street, and they were taken in serious condition to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to Chicago Police.

The circumstances of the attack were unknown.
