Man, 22, shot in Austin

A man was wounded Thursday evening in an Austin neighborhood shooting on the West Side.

The 22-year-old realized he was shot in the shoulder about 5:05 p.m. when he heard shots in the 4800 block of West Gladys and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

His condition was stabilized at Stroger Hospital, police said.
