Northbound CTA Red Line trains are resuming normal service after briefly being diverted to the elevated lines between Cermak and Fullerton due to a power outage.

After stopping at Cermak, Howard-bound trains only stopped at elevated stations until Fullerton, according to the CTA.

By about 2:50 p.m., Red Line trains resumed normal service and were stopping at all stations.

Southbound service was not affected.
