A man was shot Sunday morning in the Albany Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The 19-year-old man was in the 3600 block of West Sunnyside about 11 a.m. when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken in critical condition to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, police said.

A suspect is in custody and charges are pending, police said.
