Two men were stabbed while fighting with each other Tuesday evening at North Avenue Beach.

A 25-year-old man was stabbed in the chest by a 35-year-old man during a fight over a domestic-related issue about 6:15 p.m. near the 1600 block of North Lake Shore Drive, according to Chicago Police.

The 35-year-old man was then stabbed in the face, knee and wrist, police said.

Both were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where the younger man was in serious-to-critical condition, police said. The older man’s condition was unknown.

Charges are pending against the older man Tuesday morning.
