A man was shot early Sunday in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 24-year-old was leaving his home about 4 a.m. in the 2200 block of South Christiana when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the right leg, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where his condition was stabilized, police said.
