A man was shot and critically wounded late Tuesday in the Pilsen neighborhood on the South Side.
The 33-year-old was standing on the sidewalk at 11:24 p.m. in the 1600 block of South Loomis when he heard shots and realized he’d been hit, according to Chicago Police.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the chest, police said.
