A SWAT team responded Saturday afternoon to a Northwest Side home, where a suicidal man was barricaded inside, authorities said.

SWAT officers responded about 2:20 p.m. to a disturbance at the home in the 4000 block of West Palmer, according to Chicago Police. No injuries were reported.

As of 2:15 a.m. Sunday, the situation had been resolved, and the man was taken into custody. police said. He was taken to Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center for evaluation.
