A 17-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man were shot Monday evening in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.

About 5:40 p.m., the two were walking in the 4300 block of South Hermitage Avenue when they heard shots and felt pain, Chicago Police said.

The 17-year-old was shot in the groin and leg and the 20-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the leg, police said.

Both were taken to Stroger Hospital, where they were stabilized, police said.
