A man was seriously wounded in a shooting Thursday afternoon in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

The 32-year-old was found in the street with gunshot wounds to the hip and groin at 12:56 p.m. in the 800 block of South Kolmar, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, police said.
