A man was killed in a crash Monday morning in northwest suburban Huntley.

Emergency responders were called about 6:10 a.m. to a crash with injuries at Algonquin and Haligus roads when a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan collided with a 2005 Ford Explorer, according to Huntley police.

The driver of the Ford, identified as David Stone, 51, of Huntley, was killed in the crash and pronounced dead at the scene, police said. A 74-year-old man Lake in the Hills man who was driving the Dodge was taken to Centegra Hospital in Huntley for treatment. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

The roadway was reopened at 10:04 a.m., police said. The crash remained under investigation and no charges have been filed.
