Man hurt in Fernwood shooting

A man was shot Tuesday morning in the Fernwood neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 29-year-old was shot in the torso at 11:02 a.m. in the 10600 block of South Lowe, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
