A man was shot Saturday evening in the Gage Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 25-year-old was standing on the sidewalk when he heard shots and felt pain at 6:41 p.m. in the 3200 block of West 55th Street, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the right arm and was taken to Mt. Sinai where he was in good condition, police said.

Area Central detectives were investigating.
