A man was shot Monday evening in a Jeffery Manor neighborhood shooting on the Far South Side.

The 21-year-old was standing on a sidewalk about 8:40 p.m. when someone in a black car opened fire before taking off in the 2100 block of East 97th Street, according to Chicago police.

He was taken to Trinity Hospital, where he was listed in good condition.
