Guard Kyle Long sat out Thursday’s practice with an ankle injury, according to the Bears’ injury report.

Long spoke to reporters earlier this week and did not mention an injury.

Earlier Thursday, Nagy said the team “came out of the game pretty healthy.” He does not speak to the media after practice, per the team’s schedule.

Safety DeAndre Houston-Carson, who has a broken forearm, also did not practice. Cornerback Bryce Callahan was limited with a knee injury, while Daniel Brown returned to full participation after suffering a right shoulder injury in the preseason finale.

Long has been given routine veteran days off after having three surgeries — on his shoulder, neck and elbow — this offseason. It’s unclear if the injury is to Long’s right ankle which was operated on in November 2016 after he suffered ligament damage in the Bears’ Week 9 game.

Long said Wednesday that Monday presented a chance to fix the mistakes they made in Sunday’s loss to the Packers.

“The longer you’re in the league, the more you realize you have a fresh opportunity every week to go play somebody new, and for us it’s Monday night at home against Seattle, and that’s what we’re excited about,” he said. We” looked at the film and there’s obviously corrections to be made, but that’s what practice is for, so we’ll use this week’s practices to be able to improve on the things we need to.”
