Man, 21, shot in Lawndale

A man was wounded by gunfire Wednesday afternoon in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

About 12:30 p.m., the 21-year-old was shot in the hand in the 1900 block of South Pulaski, according to Chicago police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

Area Central detectives were investigating.
