Missing man last seen at Rockford Greyhound station located

A 41-year-old South Shore man who was reported missing has been located.

Nicholas Thompson had last been seen Oct. 18 near the Rockford Greyhound station at 725. N. Lyford Rd., according to Chicago police.

Police announced Monday evening that Thompson had been found safe, but did not provide additional information.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
