Driver flees West Pullman rollover crash scene: police

A green Jeep was northbound in the 12800 block of South Halsted Street when it hit a median and a tree before flipping over and landing in the southbound lanes, police said.

Police are looking for a driver who ran away after a rollover crash Sunday in West Pullman on the Far South Side.

A green Jeep was northbound at 4:51 a.m. in the 12800 block of South Halsted Street when it hit a median and a tree, according to Chicago police.

The Jeep flipped over and landed in the southbound lanes, police said. The driver got out and left the area on foot.

No injuries have been reported, police said. Area South detectives are still trying to identify and locate the driver.
