A 58-year-old man died Sunday after a vehicle crash outside his home in south suburban Calumet City.

The man was involved in a crash in the 200 block of 157th Street and taken to Franciscan Health in Hammond, Indiana, where he was pronounced dead about 5:30 a.m., the Lake County coroner’s office said. He lived in the same block where the crash occurred.

The coroner’s office said the man died in a motor vehicle accident.

Calumet City police did not respond to a request for details.
